Bach - Great Fantasia and Fugue in G minor (Ocarina of Time Soundfont)
As requested by Quarynet, here's a rendition of Bach's Great Fantasia and Fugue in G minor, BWV 542.
Though its title of "Great" was only given to it to distinguish it from its much better-known cousin, the "Little Fugue in G minor", this mighty composition is very much worthy of its title. The Great Fantasia and Fugue is one of the most majestic of Bach's organ works.
The multi-episodic Fantasia with which it opens is certainly magnificent and complex, but the equally long Fugue that follows it might be even more impressive. Centering a fugue around a long and melodic subject is a considerable challenge, but here Bach succeeded in a way only the master of all fugues could have done.
