2024 marks the 40th anniversary of the groundbreaking television show, Miami Vice.
Groundbreaking, because this wasn’t just another hour-long, boring police procedural drama. The show represented a revolution in the way television shows were created, and it had a tremendous impact on shaping the culture, vibe, and fashion of the 1980s, and still does today.
To celebrate this milestone, we’re bringing together dozens of the cars, the stars, and the boats, that helped make the 80s such an awesome era.
Fans, we are retaking Ocean Drive on South Beach Miami, where many of the Show’s outdoor sequences were filmed, and we’re bringing together people and machines in a weekend event celebrating the actors, writers, crew, and even the un-credited stars, like the Daytona, the Testarossa, and the speedboats, which all helped give Miami Vice that “MTV Cops” look.
