This is the from a while back. No fanfare here, and she only sings a couple of songs, but I’ve never seen her like this! She’s a total New Yorker but appears to have managed to avoid the sun for her entire life! This clip is “la verdad,” or “the truth!” She’s really this bright, and possibly among the most talented ladies to have ever graced Broadway! I don’t know how long this will last, but hope you get to see it. As a former New Yorker, I “get” the 1st part completely.
Part two/three are so beautiful, and I’m happy to say they’re not completely foreign to me. Where has the time all gone to? Please move your cursor down about 10 lines to see the original!
