How to Create Modal Pop-up Forms in WebForms
In this episode, we continue our WebForms playlist where we're building a little tow truck application. Until now, we had our "update data" section of our page on the right of our screen, but that layout was a bit clunky and we needed a change. After updating our WebForms app to .Net Framework 4.8 (Bootstrap 5.2.3) from 4.7.2 (Bootstrap 3.4.1), we now have access to a whole range of new features and controls that are current for use in 2024, and one of those new features is the modal pop-up. This nice Bootstrap feature is really great, and allows you to have pop up forms for just about any task.
For all of you MS Access developers out there following this playlist, this feature is similar to making a form with the pop-up and modal properties set how you like. You can make it dismissible, or lock the user into the popup until some task has been completed. Let's go take a look!
