Today, Trey from Trey's Trades appeared on Making Money with Charles Payne to talk about heavily shorted AMC stock. As usual, both Trey and Charles did a phenomenal job discussing the current situation with the so called "meme stocks" and they also highlighted Wall Street's bias toward retail investors. They also noted that the so-called "smart money" on Wall Street doesn't always get it right. Citadel Securities is also in the hot seat as allegedly leaked documents from Robinhood indicate that Citadel reached out to Robinhood in January, shortly before retail investors' ability to buy certain "meme stocks" such as AMC and Gamestop was halted. If true, this would contradict the sworn testimony of Citadel CEO, Ken Griffin who testified before Congress earlier this year.
