A Beginner's Practical Approach to COBOL

Professor Auyeung gives an overview of the content that has been covered in this course: basic COBOL concepts such as divisions, verbs and some basic logic (UNTIL, PERFORM), and explores access through use of tools such as VS Code and plugins. We wrapped up the webinar with a presentation about Open Mainframe Project by John Mertic.
John showcased how this COBOL course fits into the Open Mainframe Project and how one can access not just the course content, but also get access to a system that IBM has provided to run the lab exercises.
