Sonic 3 - The Movie is an upcoming action-adventure comedy film based on the video game series published by Sega. It is the sequel to Sonic - The Movie and Sonic 2 - The Movie. In the third installment of the franchise, the speedster hedgehog (Ben Schwartz), the echidna warrior Knuckles (Idris Elba) and the flying fox Tails (Colleen O'Shaughnessey) build an alliance aimed at protecting the magical Master Emerald. However, a new threat arises when the military of the G.U.N., a special force, fails to find the body of Dr. Eggman (Jim Carrey) at the site where the final battle took place.
