In the Affinity Designer Facebook group someone was asking about how to remove parts of the designed to make it smaller width wise. I found there are two ways to do this. You can use the vector crop tool or you can use the eraser brush tool in the Pixel Persona. You may need to consider what you need to do differently if you're working with the object in an embedded document. Once you know which bit you need to select, it's fairly easy to work this out and do the job.
