The Linux diff command allows you to check and see differences between different files. In this video I'll show you different options when diffing files in Linux. With the diff command you can control what is output to the terminal depending on what cli options you pass to it. The ones I like best are the --side-by-side and --suppress-common-lines combined together, with those two you see only the differences between the files making it easy to debug where the differences are.
