In this final segment, we discuss the hostile media effect. When people are presented with evidence and/or arguments that challenge their beliefs, what do they do? Blame the media, of course. That is, we tend to dismiss the source of information that challenges our beliefs. Obviously, this leads us to become stuck in our beliefs, no matter how wrong they are. Ugh. This segment ends with a "good bye" to my students as this is the final video segment of this semester.
