Keras versus Pytorch Benchmarking Controversy
The Keras versus Pytorch benchmarking drama. This isn't about picking sides.
I want to point out how difficult it is to do these sorts of benchmarks. The lesson here is to be skeptical of any vendor/open-source benchmarks that sound too good to be true. I have spent the last 8 years explaining to people why competitor XYZ's performance isn't 8x better 🙄.
The Keras and Pytorch Teams have removed their posts, so it's hard to see the original controversy now.
