The number of countries promoting renewables through direct policy support has tripled, from 48 in 2004 to 147 by 2017. This has improved energy access, security, savings and reduced emissions in these countries.
While this progress looks impressive, it is not enough to fight climate change. We need every country in the world to adopt renewable energy.
Our third episode - “Transition to Renewable Energy” - takes a look at how we can ease this transition and make our energy sector sustainable.
