The Network Is Slow!
A report that, 'The network is slow!' is something almost every I.T. support help desk and I.T. professional will encounter at some point during their career. Whilst networks can indeed be slow sometimes, end users may often attribute unrelated I.T. issues, particularly those that appear to take a long time, to speed of the network.
In this video I briefly talk about why I think it is important to avoid the perception within an organisation that 'the network in slow' and also discuss the business implications too. I also share one of my own experiences of a network with a perceived performance issue.
