In this video I take a quick look of the new and recently released 18 Core monster from Intel, the Core i9 9980XE and see how well it runs and overclocks on the EVGA X299 Dark.

The Dark is very capable of handling the high loads of the CPU, although the VRM temperatures do go high after some time during heavy stress on the CPU. Closing in on 5ghz in multicore frequency in cinebench, it is a really high number for an 18 core cpu. Also the memories can be overclocked high thanks to the single slot per channel design that the dark has.
