Hi everyone, in continuation of our C++ series, I've made this video explaining how to migrate/upgrade your project to a newer Unreal Engine version. In this specific case, we migrate from 4.27 to the latest 5.0 Preview 2.

In this video you'll see:
1) How to Update both Visual Studio & Rider
2) What files to delete and how to generate the Unreal files for 5.0
3) How to fix compilation issues
4) How to fix compilation deprecation API warnings
5) How to fix Engine Migration issues with Blueprints after the migration
6) How to fix Unit/Screenshot/E2E Tests
7) How to smoke test after the migration
8) Current UE5 Preview bugs found during the migration process (hopefully they will be fixed until the final release)
