In this video you will learn the basics of creating a command macro in Autodesk AutoCAD. You will learn some of the symbols needed when writing a macro. You will see a macro created that will set a layer current, then create text while setting the style, justification, and height. You will also learn to create a macro that will zoom the drawing window to 90% of the extents. Finally, you will learn how to add the commands to a palette.
