Canada is opening more doors for people wishing to immigrate to Canada through the ‘Hong Kong Open Work Permit’ policy, which expands eligibility for Hong Kong people who graduated from a post-secondary institution within the past 10 years from the previous criteria five years. This is a welcome change for local advocates who have long been pushing for more support for Hong Kongers wanting to live and work in Canada
