SLIDE ROCK State Park as a SOLO TRAVELER! [Summer Fun in Arizona]
Slide Rock State Park, just north of Sedona, Arizona, features hiking trails and historic sites, but the main thing I was excited for was the natural water slides! Visitors can slide down smooth rocks in the creek, with beautiful red rock wall surrounding it. Since I’m on a road trip by myself, I was intimidated and worried about feeling awkward as a solo traveler. I’ll also discuss not having anyone to watch my things while I was in the water and being in such a crowded place.
If you go: entrance fee was $20 per car. Once the parking lot fills up (which may have been around 9 or 10 am when I visited, which was a Wednesday in June) people wait in their cars to be let in.
