Seven Up is a collaborative studio album by American psychologist and writer Timothy Leary and German krautrock band Ash Ra Tempel. The album was released in 1973 by the German record label Kosmische Musik.
The album was recorded over three days in a studio in Berlin, Germany, and was influenced by the experimental music scene in the city at the time. The members of Ash Ra Tempel, guitarist Manuel Göttsching, drummer Hartmut Enke, and keyboardist Klaus Schulze, were known for their improvisational style and their use of electronic instruments. Seven Up was not a commercial success upon its release, but it has since gained a cult following among fans of experimental music.
