Mediadesign Hochschule – Digital Film Design – Renderfarm In Action
After many years in the productions of my studio #VirtualRepublic, we decided to use #Afanasy (#CGRU) at the #Mediadesign University of Applied Sciences as well. All 22 (actually at location Düsseldorf) computers with 64 GB RAM and RTX 3070Ti cards are remotely accessible for our students. The projects are managed via #Syncthing and synchronized between the teams. We can access the farm from anywhere and while the computers are rendering the final images are synced in real-time.
