Isle of Gold Guide [AFK ARENA]

The current version of the event has both parts farming/pillaging resources nerfed. As currently the game mode encourages both attack and defence strategies to happen at the same time. However, you still will get more rewards from pillaging as you can acquire all 6 instead of only 4 rewards. The best current resources to farm are Guild coins (Eugene shards, time emblem tickets, T4 gear upgrade tokens) ➢ Labyrinth tokens (Dimensional copies, SI upgrades, Engraving materials) ➢ Essence (Levelling up) ➢ Experience (early game accounts) = Diamonds = POE coins
Resources scale off the building level, whether you are pillaging or farming.
Morale – increases your % bonus from pillaging/attacking enemy islands.
➢ Fountain of war will increase pillaged loot but decrease farming bonus from 8 stacks to 5 at maximum level.
Prosperity – increases your % bonus from farming on your own island.
➢ Fountain of peace will increase farmed loot but decrease pillaging bonus by 3 points at maximum level.
Strategy for maximum rewards:
1) Place your 4 resource buildings with no defenders. The reason for this is you want to trade pillaging attempts with someone else.
2) Place 5 – 6 flowers, one of each colour. Flowers do not stack, only morale buff stacks
3) Place your fountain of peace/war.
4) Make sure your buildings are spread out, at least one block in between.
5) Level your resource & fountain as high as possible as this will determine your morale cap.
6) You want to pillage someone who has a similar layout as you, so that you can trade pillage attempts. You can only be pillaged three times per day. So once this is done, you will freely farm resources with no limits.
7) Pillage attempts do not stack from day to day. So make sure you use them as they come round.
