TS3 VS TS4 💥
I'm not going to lie to you, I'm really depressed lately. This week has been incredibly tough and disappointing in many ways. I don't know what to do with all the projects I have, whether to cancel them, pause them, modify them or delete everything and disappear. I'm so indecisive.
Buuuut I decided to overturn that indecision and forget the sadness a little by doing my super fun comparisons of which saga looks better xd
This time I did it with Love Advice, my super mega cliche boring romantic series made with TS3. On several occasions I was tempted to transfer this series to TS4 because there is so much more school stuff than in TS3. But it's already too late, I filmed 4 episodes and I'm not going to re-film everything again e.e
Okay, about my point of view in this video even though no one asked for it 🐣:
*Sets: For me, it's 100 times better in its TS4 version. I didn't get anything "realistic" or school-like in TS3, even in its finished version
*Characters: I have mixed feelings. I like the innocent and teenage version of Cass in TS4, but at the same time she is too innocent and cute and I don't imagine Cass that way (I tried to do her 5 times and and this was the best result lol). And Cameron... ugh, he looks very grown up. I prefer its version in TS3 which is a little less ugly xD
*Animations: Well I used the same animations in both versions since they're originally from TS4 and I converted them for TS3. Although I like more how Cass makes the face in the TS3 version xd Everything looks more "emotional" and in TS4 they look more serious
Colors: In this I feel that TS3 wins by beating. One of the things I hate most about TS4 is the lighting and lack of color in some worlds. Even using reshade, everything looks dull or weird. It's hard for me to get something right with lighting. TS3 version has a good handling of colors and lighting when it's autumn (and I hardly used any reshade effects there so.... 💖).
Well I think TS3 has more strengths than TS4. Still it was fun filming on TS4. And for the first time I did it incredibly fast Lmao
