Honestly, I'm still make some mistake/misplay playing this deck because I rarely play Northern Realm so don't fully remember and understand the mechanic. I'm facing soooo many Stockpile deck when playing Nilfgaard and Syndicate. It is so hard to counter especially with greedy deck. Not saying I'm always lost against Stockpile, I still can win against Stockpile using another deck but sure it is very hard. So I tried to play Stockpile and experiencing its heavy control. I'm using 2 decks in this video, but I think deck #2 is more effective
deck 1: https://www.playgwent.com/en/decks/21...
deck 2: https://www.playgwent.com/en/decks/a9...
Strategy:
1. Round 1: I don't recommend to play Siege first.. I rather save Siege for final round. But if you want to play Siege first it is good but maybe would be hard for the next round. I recommend to play with bronze siege engine like Carrobalista, Kerack Frigate, or Reinforce Balista. We need to play Radovid early, preferably play Siege Support first to give zeal to Radovid. We may use leader charge to abuse Foltest's Pride later. If we got warfare card on first round, just play it all so our siege engine's cooldown reduce and we can damage enemy unit. usually we can win round by playing these card because its heavy control and have potential to remove enemy engine.
2. Round 2: Against some faction like Vampire, tribute, I recommend to bleed, if necessary, play all cards on round 2. We may play Siege in this round but if can, save Foltest's Pride for short final round. With the Siege scenario, we can have heavy control again to remove opponent's engine. Force opponent to play their wincon card. We may win 2-0 by bleed them. We can take opponent's engine with Muzzle too. Muzzle may be can be replaced with Heatwave
3. Round 3: If we got short round, play Foltest's Pride and abuse leader ability for damaging enemy unit. If Foltest's Pride does not have crew, use leader first to gain crew and reduce cooldown to 2. If we got long round, play Siege scenario and all siege engine
