Blacksmithing Shop - Yamhill County Harvest Fest
We enjoyed visiting the blacksmithing shop at the Yamhill County Harvest Fest held at the Yamhill Valley Heritage Center in McMinnville, Oregon. There is something about the smell of a coal fired forge and the sounds of a the blacksmithing shop that just draw you in to watch and learn.
The Yamhill County Harvest Fest is an event that offers fun for the entire family including an old fashioned harvesting demonstration with antique vintage farm equipment and draft animals, a working blacksmith shop, vintage sawmill operations, stagecoach rides, steam engine displays, pioneer kids’ activities, old fashioned food, country music, vintage exhibits, vendors and more.
