Legendary Graphics Cards - EVGA Geforce GTX 780Ti Classified KINGPIN - Overview & Thoughts
After a long time of hunting, I managed to finally get my hands on the very rare EVGA Geforce GTX 780TI Classified KINGPIN, which is the very first Kingpin graphics card model EVGA ever released. It came out in early parts of 2014, and it is one of the very best 780 Ti models and also one of the most legendary VGAs of all time at the same time.
Back then not that many vendors allowed full overclocking without at least some kind of hardware level modding. We already had various pad shorting, shunt resistor modding etc, but with the Classified and KP models you were always good to go with required tools and BIOS. On the 780 TI KP it is easiest if you happen to own the old EVBot hand-held tool to control all of the voltages, OCP levels and switching frequencies of the card, as there is no Classified.exe yet for this model. For software overclocking the old EVGA Precision or Afterburner Extreme works fine.
