Imac OSX Lion on Internet with Dialup USR 5637 Modem
On the internet via old dialup using a US Robotics 5637 USB modem. This is a "late 2006 iMac with a 2.16GHz core 2 duo". All my older USB modems would not work with OSX 10.7 and this tiny modem works well. This modem works also with OSX 10.8 and Win 8* win 7, xp, win2000 too. An older USR USB 56K modem a model 5633A here will not work on this iMac because USR never made drivers or the magic bullet to allow the iMac to see this older version. Both modems are the same speed and self powered USB modems. The older modem works at least to windows VISTA but never had OSX support.
