Set-up Payments in Ticket Generator: Your All-in-one Event Management Tool

Ticket Generator helps you receive payments from the guests when they register for the event via our 'Event Registration' feature.
Using this feature, event organizers can share the ‘event registration link’ with potential guests. On clicking the link, the guests are taken to the registration form. They can then fill out their details and make the payment too.
On successful registration and approval, the ticket is automatically generated and sent to the guest’s email or phone number or both. Currently, we support payment integration with Stripe only. More payment gateways to be added soon.
After, get started with setting up ‘Event Registration’. Go to ‘Create Tickets’ or the ‘Registration’ section.
Let us use the ‘Registration’ section for this demo. Choose the event that you need to set up registrations for. Click on ‘Set Up Event Registration’.
Let’s now see how you can integrate your payment gateway with this event.
Scroll down and click on the 'Edit' icon on the 'Payment Option' table. First, turn on the 'Setup Payment' option.
Next, Choose your preferred payment gateway from the dropdown menu. Currently, we only support integration with Stripe.
Now, you’ll have to provide the secret key to initiate the integration of your Stripe account with Ticket Generator. It will help Ticket Generator's API connect to Stripe's API. This will make sure payments received via your Ticket Generator account are reflected in Stripe.
To find the secret key, go to your Stripe business account dashboard. Now, click on the Developers tab. Next, access the API keys feature under the Developers panel on the left.
Then just copy the Secret key listed in Stripe and paste it into your Ticket Generator account.
Now, you’ll have to give an endpoint URL of your Ticket Generator account in your Stripe account for the next phase of integration.
First, go to your Stripe account dashboard. Then, click on the 'Webhooks' feature under the Developers panel on the left. Next, add an endpoint by clicking on the 'Add endpoint' button on the top right. Now, enter the endpoint URL present in your Ticket Generator account.
Then go back to Stripe. Select the following events to listen to 'checkout.session.completed' and click on 'Add events'.
You’ll have to click on 'Add Endpoint' button to create the new endpoint. Again, access the 'Webhooks' feature of Stripe and click on the new endpoint created.
Under the ‘Signing secret’ column, click on the 'Reveal' button. Now, copy and paste the 'Signing secret' into your Ticket Generator dashboard.
Next, give the payment details that should be reflected on invoices and payment confirmation notifications to be sent to guests. You can set up the Ticket Price and design the payment page by setting up the page title and adding a description box to make it appealing.
The integration of your Stripe account is now complete with your Ticket Generator's event.
Now, you can use the ‘Test Link’ to see how the registration form looks and test the form. You’re allowed to submit up to 20 test requests. However, an actual payment of USD 0.5 will need to be made, which will be refunded after the completion of testing. Ticket credits will not be consumed while checking the form via test URL.
Also, here’s the Live URL that you can share in your promotional creatives to get registrations.
This request will be visible in the registration table. Click on refresh. You’ll see the request that we just submitted using the Live URL. In the 'Payment' column you can see the details such as transaction id, and paid amount.
You can also use these filters to check the New, Approved, and rejected tickets. Also, you can check if the ticket has been successfully sent or not.
