Celebrating Community Impact in Tech Education at the 2024 Tech Impact Celebration Luncheon of Southern Nevada!
At the recent event where our community united to uplift aspiring tech students, Link Technologies attended as a team and proudly served as a Presenting Sponsor, demonstrating our commitment to supporting future leaders in the IT field! With a shared vision of nurturing talent and providing opportunities, sponsors and supporters came together to empower the next generation of tech leaders.
The pre-event reception set a warm and collaborative tone, setting the stage for what would be an inspiring day. Emphasizing the crucial role of community support, Patrick Callihan, CEO of TechImpact, welcomed attendees and set the stage for an enriching experience. He also took a moment to commend Heidi Erpelding-Welch, Chief Programs Officer of Tech Impact, for her successful contributions to the program.
Highlighting excellence and dedication, the ceremony celebrated outstanding individuals and organizations. The first award, the Distinguished Alumni Award, was presented by DeAndre Esteen, Vice President and Contact Center Site Coordinator of Barclays Bank US, to Trinity Domeraski, Tech Impact Alumni and Resolutions Specialist of Barclays. Following this, Heidi Erpelding-Welch presented the Volunteer Impact Award that was accepted by Michael Barrie's wife, Elizabeth Barrie, honoring his significant contributions to the tech community. Afterward, the Las Vegas Raiders was presented by Chelsey Bonilla, MBA, Manager of Recruitment of Link Technologies, with the Community Impact Award, recognizing their remarkable dedication to the community and tech education.
