The Tale of Tom Kitten Read Aloud Read Along Story for Children by Beatrix Potter
"The Tale of Tom Kitten" by Beatrix Potter is a read along, read along children's story video that will delight readers and listeners of all ages. "The Tale of Tom Kitten" follows the story of Tom and his two sisters, Mittens and Moppet Twitchit. The three kittens enjoy playing outdoors, and getting dirty in the process. But one day their mother, Tabitha Twitchit, is determined to present them as neat, clean kittens when she hosts a tea party. Mother Cat goes to great lengths to get her children cleaned and dressed for the event. Unfortunately, she makes the mistake of sending them outdoors to play while she prepares snacks for the party.
Tom Kitten, Moppet, and Mittens quickly dirty themselves and their party outfits. Tom, who has gained weight and no longer fits into his Sunday best, starts popping buttons on his clothes. Before long the kittens have thrown off their outfits, and the neighborhood ducks, Mr Drake Puddle-Duck, Jemima Puddle-Duck, and Rebeccah Puddle-Duck grab the discarded clothing and head off to the pond.
Needless to day, the Puddle-Duck family lose the clothing of the kittens, and Mrs Twitchit finds her young completely undressed. Tabitha Twitchit spanks her naughty children and sends her indoors to try to hide them upstairs before her guests arrive. Tabitha lies to her guests about her children having measles, but everyone suspects they are just upstairs, and they are playing very noisily.
