The USS Nimitz had an issue with Jet Fuel leaking into its potable water supply two weeks ago, and it still isn't rectified. Numerous sailors stated the showers, sinks, and other water dispensing areas reek of jet fuel but the Commanding Officer stated that the water supply had been cleaned out. That statement later changes when the Officer told those aboard the ship that "there was a safe amount of jet fuel in the water, so it was safe to consume." The issues still have not been fixed onboard the USS Nimitz, and some sailors are reporting that they aren't receiving medical care.
