How to Move Mail to Different Folders in Gmail :Tutorial
You can create a rule that moves all emails from a specific sender or senders to a folder. In this video, we will learn, how to sort emails in Gmail by using the label. You can create labels and add emails to them on both desktop and mobile versions of Gmail. Follow these steps.
1. In your web browser, open “Gmail”.
2. Sign in with your login credentials, like enter your email address, and click on the Next button.
3. Enter the password of your Google account, and click on the “Next” button.
4. Click the checkbox on the left side of each email to select it.
5. Click on the "Labels" icon. It's a tag-shaped icon on the top of your inbox.
6. Now at the bottom, click on the “Create New” link.
7. Enter a label name in this pop-up window, like we have given the Label name as Google.
8. After this, click on the “create” button.
9. You will notice that a new folder with Google's name has appeared on the left side.
10. When you will click on this folder, you will find your moved email in this new folder.
11. But, these emails are still laying in the Inbox and you will find a small grey color box with Google text.
12. If you want to hide the emails that you labeled from your inbox, select the emails and then click on the "Archive" icon at the top. The selected emails will disappear from your inbox.
13. But, you will find your labeled emails in the label folder.
14. If you want to add more emails then go to the Inbox and select the email.
15. Go to labels options, uncheck the box of updates if it is checked and then select the checkbox of a label like here we are selecting “Google”.
16. Click on “Apply”, and by this way, we can move all the emails to a different folder in Gmail.
