Forking a git project on GitHub is really easy, you just hit the fork button, but most people don't know how to keep it up to date and in sync with the origin git repository on GitHub (or BitBucket, GitLab). It is really easy when you know how. In this video I will show you how to contribute to an open source project by creating a GitHub Pull Request, and then how to keep your GitHub fork up to date and in sync with the original repo by adding git remotes and pushing / pulling / fetching from them.
