If you are looking for a small portable flash kit then this episode is for you. I will show a proven outdoor flashing set. The perfect set must consist of a good tripod, a good flash holder and a reasonably powerful compact flash. The tripod must be light, fold to the smallest possible size, and when unfolded, it should be solid and as high as possible (ideal is one that decomposes at least 2m high - it will allow you to place the lamp over the heads of standing people). The lamp should be small so that it can fit into a backpack or bag. It must have the greatest possible power and a good battery. Unfortunately, the size of the lamps and their weight are closely related to their power. And unfortunately, the perfect outdoor flash is the Quadralite Atlas 600 - for me it is too heavy to carry it in a backpack and carry cameras with lenses. That is why my small outdoor set includes the Quadralite Reporter 200 lamp. Unfortunately, it has only 1/3 of the Atlas 600 power, but it is also a much smaller lamp. And taking into account these two factors, it gives the best compromise among all available lamps. To mount the lamp on a tripod, I use the Bowens S mount. I recommend the set you will hear about in this movie due to its high mobility and the fact that you will almost always be able to take it with you.
