Is this country Europe's best kept secret?
Montenegro hasn’t joined the EU yet which, I think, is why it isn’t as expensive or as crazy as the rest of Europe yet. Don’t get me wrong, Kotor definitely has cruise ship crowds, but I feel like this area is still a bit of a hidden gem when it comes to European Summer holidays.
We spent 1 month living as expats in Kotor, Montenegro this summer while our kids attended the Boundless Life WorldSchooling Hub. This is part 3 of our month long adventure here, and we packed so much in this week from a local cooking class, to a trip to nearby Tivat, a visit to a Ramla Beach Club on the Adriatic Sea, Boka Night, Isle’s birthday celebration, and Skadar Lake National Park!
