Airodynamics of an arm chair on 4x A100 GPUs
I had 2 days and ~8000 core-hours left on the supercomputer and didn't know what to do with my life. So I decided to push the frontiers of science with the most relevant computational fluid dynamics simulation of all time.
This is a simulation of an arm chair at 50km/h wind speed, for 1 second real-time. 3 billion grid cells resolution (1262 x 2522 x 946), 4x Nvidia A100 40GB SXM4 GPUs, 65694 time steps, 3 hours 11 minutes runtime for both compute and rendering.
