I've been playing around with this for hours and hours in disbelief. Not only does it do what you ask, it generates the most creative and breathtakingly beautiful artistic interpretations. It even seems to understand color theory and composition.
This is a monumental achievement. I feel like I'm witnessing a moon-landing level accomplishment. My mind is just spinning with the creative possibilities.
DALL-E 2 is for non-commercial use only (no NFTs)
Content guidelines - it can't be used to depict violence, hate speech, nudity, politics. Basically, keep it wholesome and positive. They are rolling it out slowly in order to ensure content guidelines are followed. The parent company, Open AI, is known for its mission to make sure AI benefits, rather than harms, humanity.
