Mask of Bakris gives you a HUGE competitive advantage when it comes to initiating an engagement. This exotic is meant for playing with full confidence to surprise your opponent and shut them down before they have enough time to react to your engagement. Pair this with the Prismatic subclass, and you have a recipe for success on confusing your opponent.
You can also use this exotic defensively to help your revivable teammates if they are being pinned by a sniper or team shooters. It can also save your poor positioning and help against supers. This exotic is all about playing with confidence and getting you out of a pinch when you need it. I highly recommend that you give it a try and use it enough to see how much fun it can bring you.
