On femicide in Ottawa
Ottawa Police Deputy Chief Trish Ferguson held a press conference at the Elgin Street station Friday to discuss Thursday’s case of femicide. A young mother was stabbed to death in front of her two children at a local park by a man who had a domestic relationship with a family member of the victim. He was later caught and is now charged with first degree murder.
