The Drive returns to the Gunther Werks headquarters to get an insider's look at the new tech going into the company's next-generation "remastered" Porsche 911 993 Projects like the new Speedster.
This car, the company's "Greenwich" commission, did just over 1:30 around Laguna Seca, which is excellent for its power and weight. The next phase in the company's chassis development is to add an extremely quick-acting active suspension system that will give it a more comfortable ride on the street, and then become extra stiff for the track.
