The modern SCSI disk emulators like the BlueSCSI and ZuluSCSI use disk images to emulate a SCSI hard drive. There are a few downloadable disk images available, but what if you want to make your own from scratch?

This tutorial shows how to use a modern Mac and the vintage Mac emulator SheepShaver to create your own bootable System 7.5.3 disk image, and pre-load it with all the necessary utilities to make retro computing super easy.

It also demonstrates how easy it is to transfer large quantities of files onto the disk image from your modern Mac.
