Curd 9% - 500 g
Milk - 500 ml🥛
Salt - 0.5 tsp
Soda - 0.5 tsp
Butter - 15 g (you do not need to add).
1. Transfer the curd to a bowl, pour over the milk, heat until hot, until the yellow whey begins to separate. You do not need to boil.
2. Transfer the resulting mass to a colander covered with gauze to glass all the whey and squeeze.
3. Transfer to a saucepan, add salt, soda, mix. You can melt cottage cheese in a water bath, or you can over low heat, stirring constantly so that nothing burns. Under the influence of soda, the curd will begin to melt right in front of your eyes, the process takes several minutes, do not go anywhere and stir constantly.
4. Add butter to the resulting mass for a creamier taste. If you want the cheese to be low-fat, you do not need to add butter.
5. Grease the form with vegetable or butter, transfer the mass and tamp well. Leave it in the mold until it cools completely, take it out of the mold and our homemade hard cheese is ready.
