In today's video, you will learn how to merge tables in Word 2019.
Open the document you need. We have three different tables ready for this tutorial.
The first way. You need to delete all the symbols dividing tables. Go to 'Paragraph' block at the top of your doc and click on 'Show/Hide paragraph marks'. Press 'Delete' on your keyboard to remove all of the symbols. You can see table 1 and 2 merged into one table.
The second way. Select the table and press Ctrl+X [Control+X] on your keyboard. We cut the table. Put the mouse pointer after the first table. Press Ctrl+V [Control+V] to paste the table. This way is very handy when you have tables you need to merge on separate pages. Easy!
Let's merge the first and the third tables. They have the same number of columns. When you merge them together, the width of the third table will be the same as the width of the first table.
