New Comet Not Seen in 50,000 Years! - C/2022 E3 (ZTF)
A comet from the outer solar system will visit us for the first time in 50,000 years. The comet is known as C/2022 E3 (ZTF).
It was discovered by NASA in March of 2022.
It will make its closest approach to Earth on Feb. 2. The comet will come within about 26 million miles of the planet.
And it could be viewable with the unaided eye in dark sky areas to the north after sunset.
