WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT Etsy Fee Increases, 'Etsy Gurus' and Not Diversifying
Sick of hearing people threaten to leave Etsy because of the recent fee increase?
Or how about hearing folks calling other people Etsy Gurus? Oooor.. how about all of us knowing that we need to diversify to future proof our business... BUT NOT ACTUALLY DOING IT!!
This week's video was filmed when I found myself with no internet access and too much time to think. So I decided to get some stuff off my chest. I'm almost afraid to post this video, but I also think these are things that need to be said. Especially regarding the diversifying!!
And to repeat what I say in the video, if anyone posts a comment calling other Etsy YouTubers, podcasters, coaches etc an 'Etsy Guru' I will not respond, and if they're particularly disrespectful towards someone else, I'll remove them completely.
Now.... GO DO SOMETHING.
