In this video I'll show you how to import a reference image, attach it to your camera in Unreal Engine and change the opacity.

This could also be used as a very simple HUD (heads up display).

You can use this for many things, in this example I use a composition guide for IMAX, but you could also use it to try and match the perspective of a photograph, or reference specific colors, etc.

You do it through a post process material.
