Currently there's a new wave of "scams" running around, involving friend requests. You may have received a friend request from someone with the name "Check My Bio", where they promote some sort of Discord server or scam in their About Me. The weirdest part is that they all have "no mutual servers" with you, so how do they find you? In this video, I dug into how these "scammers" do this, by contacting one myself. So, enjoy, and be aware to not fall for such scams :)

To grab your attention, these "friend request spam accounts" usually involve some type of "you got doxxed" aura to them. They are all trying to social engineer you to join their server, or get your account hacked by "verifying" to something. Just ignore those.
