Mastering AWS: How To Create A Linux EC2 Instance | For The Beginner
In this tutorial, I walk you through creating your first Amazon AWS EC2 Linux instance using a t2.micro (free-tier eligible) instance type.
During the EC2 instance creation, I explain:
1. All 'Instance Details: 2:48
2. provide a 'user data' script that will automatically make your Linux EC2 instance a web server (including 1 custom static index.html page displaying server network information): 10:50
3. Explanation and setup of the firewall rules: 14:45
4. creating a public/private key pair: 17:12
5. extracting the private key and importing it into Putty: 23:35
6. and finally establishing an SSH session to the Linux EC2 Server: 25:18
