Typically, our everyday work consists of translating well-defined designs onto components that have well-defined styles.
There are some exceptions when the dependence on external, unpredictable data is involved, such as mouse position or user preference. In these cases, we usually had to resort to inline styles and their high specificity, which in turn made our components much less adaptable.
In this presentation, Szymon showed us the alternative, modern and clean way to approach such components and introduce a slightly different mindset to styling.
