Hello mates. I am back (from my sickness), and this time, I am presenting you guys with a quick tutorial on installing mods for ArmA 3. I will be going over how to install PBOs, Unformatted mods, Formatted mods, and Workshop addons. It's quite a simple process to do once you learn how to do it.

To install workshop addons, you simply press the subscribe button you see in the Workshop under ArmA 3. Then, start the launcher and click "mods." After that, click the box near the mod to enable it. You should see it pop up to the "Active" side of the mod manager/ArmA 3 launcher.

To install unformatted mods, you simply go to the location of the ArmA 3 install directory. When inside (where the .exe file is), create a new folder with a "@" sign before writing your desired name. (For example, "@TFL"). Then after creating the folder, go inside. Then, create another folder named "addons." After that, put the pbos into the said folder (into addons). After that process is complete, run the ArmA 3 launcher and click the "mods" tab. Then click "Local mod." A new window will pop up asking you to select the folder the mod is located. Click the new "@ (whatever the name is)" folder, and it should tell you that the mod has been added. Lastly, click the box near the mod; it will move up the page.

Lastly, to install a formated mod, you first check if the formated mod comes with the addons folder. If it does, you simply go into the install directory for ArmA 3 and create a new folder with a "@" and put whatever you want after the "@." Then go inside the folder. When inside, drag the "addons" folder from the zip/rar file and whatever files are outside the addons folder (as in any metafiles or images). After that, go into the launcher and click "mods." Then click local mod. A new window will pop up asking you to select the folder the mod is located. Click the new "@ (whatever the name is)" folder, and it should tell you that the mod has been added. Lastly, click the box near the mod; it will move up the page.

That is it! You just learned how to install mods for ArmA 3. If you have any questions, be sure to let me know in the comment section below or in my discord! Have a good one, and stay frosty!
