Set a default transition with one click

What's up, tech fans! It’s me, Mackenzie, again. I'm going to show you how to set a default transition in Adobe Premiere. Let's start with a transition.

First, you want to go ahead and open up Adobe Premiere and then go and open a project.

Next, go ahead and open up a sequence and add in your two videos that you want to transition between.

And what I would usually do is go up to effects, type in the effect that I need and then drag and drop onto that cut.

But instead, what I'm going to do is I'm going to go up and I'm going to right click over the transition that I need and I'm going to hit set to default transition.

Go back to your sequence and select both your two clips.

Then on your keyboard, go ahead and hit Command + D for Apple users or Ctrl + D for PC users and then the transition will automatically apply between that cut.
